This space is more beautiful than the pictures, the grounds were lush and beautiful and the room was very comfortable. Best bed I slept on in Guatemala! The temezcal they had here was the coolest one I’ve seen yet, you crawl up from the bottom rather than through the side which allows heat to get trapped and keeps it very warm. The kitchen staff were all so kind and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

The yoga session was amazing, Callie did a wonderful guided meditation to start, pushing us to look inwards and reflect – while we did beginner-friendly to intermediate poses. i felt very safe and welcomed here — and i love the concept of one flat rate that includes meals and yoga; it made the experience very seamless. im gluten and dairy intolerant, and altho most of the meals contained both of these… i found the staff were understanding and willing to make minor modifications which i appreciated. people from all over the world come through and i decided to stay in the shared female cabin, which was cozy…with extra blankets and low light to keep things cozy. the views were super addicting and i felt at peace just relaxing and staring at them.

This place has such a nice vibe, I was encouraged in everything I tried , yoga , Mayan fire ceremony , estatic dancing..the list goes on. I booked a private cabin , the view from the balcony over looking the lake and volcanoes was stunning, the bed comfy and clean. NOW ! if you can’t cope with being close to nature and sharing with it’s inhabitants, you don’t understand the need or good for compost toilets and you expect someone to carry your bags to the door this probably isn’t the place for you. Embrace the adventure and the mini mission of finding this place ….it’s definitely worth it.

Yes, Eagles Nest Atitlán is committed to sustainable tourism. Our accommodations are built using eco-friendly materials, and we use solar panels. We also reduce our water consumption by using dry toilets.

Yes, we provide the fastest starlink Wi-Fi around the lake throughout the property so you can stay connected while enjoying your peaceful retreat. Unlike other areas of the lake, we have our own generator for electricity, so that you can enjoy Wi-Fi even if electricity in town breaks down – perfect for digital nomads!

Reaching Eagle’s Nest Atitlán is part of the adventure! We recommend flying into Guatemala City and then taking a shuttle or private transfer to  Lake Atitlán. Just reach out to us and we can arrange a private taxi directly to Eagle’s Nest for you.

If you take a shuttle, you will most likely arrive in Panajachel, the biggest city at the lake. From there, a boat ride across the lake brings you to San Marcos La Laguna. From the dock it’s just a short walk through the main street, and a 5 minute tuktuk ride to Eagle’s Nest.

Our on-site restaurant offers wholesome and homemade meals, made with local ingredients and a lot of love. Enjoy delicious meals that cater to a variety of dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
