After 2 years at JP Morgan in London as a Business Analyst, Greg decided that wasn’t the life for him and so he set off on a journey that took him around the world, including working on the set of a Hollywood blockbuster directed by Ridley Scott, Black Hawk Down, in Morocco. Eventually he settled in Guatemala and inevitably the dilemma of ‘home’ became apparent. In the end Guatemala was the obvious choice because of a deep sense of belonging, family, freedom and the intrinsic power of Mother Earth. San Marcos was initially the exploration of an inward journey of the spiritual arts including esoteric studies, meditation, metaphysics & yoga at a retreat at Las Piramides Meditation Centre. This really connected him to his inner desire of helping the collective instead of only the self.
Greg is passionate about Acro Yoga, which was the initial inspiration behind Eagle’s Nest. He also loves movement arts, attracting talent, inspiring others, personal & collective growth, creating a nourishing space and curating WOW experiences.
“Eagles Nest has opened me up to being a community leader, which was very unexpected. This role comes with some serious commitment. It has allowed me to journey on my dharma to fully explore myself. It has also provided a safe and almost mystical environment for liberated and free hearts to do what they feel most drawn to do, create or belong. Eagle’s Nest has changed my life and continues to open my heart, mind and soul to the endless beauty and wisdom of the universe; Our power to create, to love, to share and to dream.
Although her academic journey began with a focus on tourism, she ultimately earned a Bachelor’s in Communication and pursued further education, obtaining a Master’s in Motion Graphics and further a specialization in character design. Born and raised in Guatemala, she found a more profound meaning through her YTT, along with courses in chakras and anatomy, all of which brought her to Eagles Nest where she found everything aligned to bring purpose to her life.
Anya’s extraordinary journey into the world of image began as a Dive Master, taking her first steps in underwater photography. It was underwater that she discovered her ability to capture the beauty and mystery of the hidden worlds that inhabit the depths of oceans and lakes.
Nature is a source of constant inspiration for Anya. She comes from Usedom – a small island in the Baltic Sea. She loves water sports, diving, gardening, DIY, hiking, climbing and playing on the ukulele.
Through her work, she hopes to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of nature and to take action to preserve it. She also took part in Greenpeace actions, cleaning seas and lakes.
Here at Eagle’s Nest, Laura found the opportunity to combine her love for yoga with her creative energy and her marketing expertise. She holds a bachelor degree in Marketing and a master degree in International Business Management and enjoys expressing her creativity on our social media channels and on our blog.
Arnoldo loves to spend time with his family, go for hikes in the forest, play football and spend time with his friends in the lake.
“I have learnt so much working here, especially regarding construction skills and techniques. I enjoy the challenge of finding creative solutions for problems and collaborating directly with Greg. From a personal point of view, I have been able to achieve my goal of owning my own home for my family in San Marcos.”
“Eagles Nest has been a huge blessing for me. Due to the pandemic my whole family, which consists of 11 people, lost their livelihoods. As a result we relied solely on my income during this time. I am very grateful for Eagles Nest because I have been able to keep on track with my personal goals & support my loved ones at the same time. Now, everyone in my family has jobs again and we are doing much better.”
“Working here has made a huge difference in my life, as I have had the opportunity to develop my skills and gain experience that I would not have had otherwise. If I didn’t have this job I have no idea how I would have been able to provide for my children.”
“Nothing is difficult for me, I can build everything.”

Rhiannon believes that yoga is a space to grow in every direction and is a tool that can be used to unearth our most radiant selves. Her practice began in 2015, and she has been teaching both in Canada and internationally since 2018. She has taken part in over 600 hours of teacher trainings and is also a Reiki practitioner. Her practice has taught her to show up with love and authenticity, and she is grateful to be able to share these expressions of alignment with her students.
When teaching, her intention is to bring a conscious and connected awareness between mind, body, and spirit. Envisioning prayer in motion, Rhiannon’s style of teaching explores flow state through creative and fluid sequencing, challenge, and soft moments of mindfulness. She utilizes meditation, breathwork, energetic awareness, and physical asanas to create a journey for students to go on that feels expansive and transformative.
Rhiannon teaches classes in vinyasa flow, aerial yoga, yin, and meditation. Inspired by life upside down and the creativity of the circus, she is an avid handstander and aerial circus artist. She loves to teach inversion & arm balance workshops, as well as embodied creative movement classes. She looks forward to connecting with you on the mat and helping to guide you through a journey inwards.
Rafa
Rafa encountered yoga in 2007 during his university studies. Yoga had an attractive familiarity with the kind of focus and mind/body discipline he had been practicing in martial arts for over 10 years. By 2018, what initially started as an elective class done under the trees of the campus garden, had turned into a lifestyle and all year round healing medicine. A teacher certification program in Ashtanga and restorative yoga became the ideal means for self regulation in the nomadic life of a Central America adventure tour guide who would take travelers to a new city every 3 nights. This deepening on knowledge in the practice meant that even with a fast pace travel life, yoga was that nurturing grounding practice that made any place be home. The intensity of Ashtanga and the replenishing medicine of Yin yoga became his balance in life and a passion shared with the clients that he took on the road for over 10 years.
This made Yoga become one of the main pillars of his life endeavors, so in early 2022 he took one more teacher certification to bring the creativity and freedom that a vinyasa style class offers. This became a key add-on for the signature fire/water themed experiences that he and his beloved passionately create.

Alexandra is a Yoga/Meditation Teacher, Janzu Therapist, Tantra Teacher and Event Producer. She began her journey of teaching others to drop deeper into their bodies by finding their center, with “Indo Board” balance trainers, in 2016. Working with these tools allowed her to understand deeply how functional anatomy affects performance in the areas of balance and proprioception. From this base she integrated principles of yoga specifically regarding asana and breath practice effectively creating “Balance Board Yoga.” She became a RYT 250HR teaching Vinyasa and Yin styles of yoga in 2020. In 2022 she completed a 300HR RYT Training of Tantra Kriya Yoga with the Yoga Red Loto School from CDMX. She is a passionate explorer, and challenges her students to think outside the box with practices and connect more deeply with the worlds inside and around us. She currently runs “Atlachinolli Experiences” with her beloved, guiding students to fully embrace their various polarities in order to transcend and unify them.
