Travel is a magical experience that can inspire us to live our dreams and see the world in a new light. For many of us, it’s a way to break free from societal expectations and find new inspiration.
Recently, we were visited by adventure traveler and videographer Agustín, founder and creator of the famous YouTube channel SoyTribu. We are excited and honored to be featured in his latest travel videos about his journey to Lake Atitlán, where he shares amazing impressions of the lake, its surrounding volcanoes and the inspiring stories of the communities who live around.

SoyTribu visits Eagle’s Nest
SoyTribu is the project of Agustín Ostos to go around the world on a motorcycle, documenting tribes with the purpose of showing the different faces of this planet. He has been on the go since 2017 and traveled more than 82000 kilometers on his motorcycle ever since.
Traveling to capture the beauty of the world, however, can often lead to unexpected adventures and challenges. This was certainly the case for Agustín as he found himself lost in the woods on his journey through the mountains of Guatemala.
As fate would have it, he stumbled upon Eagle’s Nest and found shelter in our community.
He took the chance to join Solstice Festival and capture incredible footage which will for sure bring you to a state of dreaming and magic. Check out his video about Lago Atitlán, also known as “the most beautiful lake in the world”, and get lost in the natural beauty Guatemala has to offer.

These are only a few questions Agustín was inspired to ask when he first came to Lake Atitlán. Questions, many people come across once they come to our community of alchemists, artists and magicians.
During his stay, Agustín sat with our founder, Greg Clough, to have a chat about his inspiration behind Eagle’s Nest and why he chose Lake Atitlán to bring his vision into reality. They had an inspiring chat about the importance of our community, the role of the feminine and the masculine, and what it means to live your dreams.
